The first TGU training course for 2015 was held successfully in Qingdao on March 20. Some nine supplier members were invited to participate in this training.
To begin with, Mr. Eric Zhang, District Manager of North China, Tradegood, shared with suppliers the latest developments at Tradegood and introduced how the Tradegood Trend Boutique was acting as an innovative supply-chain solution to help suppliers open up their overseas markets. Following this, Mr. Frank Yang from the Tradegood Buyer Development Team, analyzed the sourcing behavior and habits of various retailers and brand buyers. Yang not only delivered his insights on the latest developments and trends in the industry, but also shared information on Tradegood’s quality-buyer resources with the attending suppliers. Tradegood customer service representative Ms. May Lee then presented some supplier success stories to illustrate how Tradegood supplier members make use of the Tradegood sourcing community to connect with target buyers and eventually obtain orders, case studies which helped enhance the suppliers’ confidence in the Tradegood operation. In addition, Tradegood also invited Sarah, Senior Lecturer from the Intertek Group Government and Trade Services Department, to share updates on emerging-market export regulations with suppliers, providing them with much needed information on the latest regulations and policies for developing new markets which could help lower the risk of new market entry.
The attending suppliers gave feedback that they highly appreciated the high-quality TGU training course developed by Tradegood. Tradegood will continue to pay attention to the pressures and challenges of suppliers in the global-sourcing supply chain, and continue to respond to customers’ demands for diversification of training, and to build an excellent platform for suppliers enabling them to enhance their capabilities.
