This time the Tradegood Buyer Summit came to Shanghai ata new venue—the Shanghai Marriot HotelHongqiao—on July 18, 2013. More than100 representatives ofinternational buyers and suppliers were invited to theevent.
As the focal point of this summit,Tradegoodlaunched itsfirst Mini Expo and publishedits Trade Book for suppliers participating in the Expo.The Mini Expo served perfectly asa display and communicationsplatform for both international buyers and suppliers, and this new Tradegood sourcing idea received a great deal ofpositive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors.
Another major hit, the Tradegood Photo Studio,was once more featured atthe buyer summit. Specially invited international models and a team of professional photographersappeared on site totakeproduct photos for customers’ fashion items, and the brilliantproduct photos not only projected thecustomers’ corporate image but also representedTradegood’sprofessionalism and attitude.
The summit started off with aspeech fromMr. Flecher Kong, Director of the Tradegood Supply Chain Analysis Center. The most important part of the summit—the business matching session—startedright after Mr. Kong’sintroduction tothe background and purchasing requirements of the four attendingcompanies. Supplier representatives brought their samples to the matching session and held detaileddiscussions with the buyer representativesontheir purchasing requirements, production capability and relevant qualifications.
At the same time on stage, Tradegood was pleased to stage apresentation on “The role and value of business news and information in overseas trade marketing” by Mr. Li, Business Director ofPR Newswire.Mr. Li shed light onhow business news exertsa majorimpact on customers’ buying behavior and how business news help enterprises deliver added value in overseas markets.
Once again the Buyer Summit achieved a fruitful outcome.
