The final Tradegood Buyer Summit for 2013 was successfully held at the Hongqiao Marriot Hotel in Shanghai on December12, 2013. On this occasion more than 100 representatives from international buyers and suppliers were invited to the summit.

As this was the last buyer summit of this year, we reinstated the Mini Expo section, and this time 10 suppliers were invited to attend, which set a record since the activity was first held. With streams of participants, both suppliers and buyers held fruitful discussions on their products, and the entire event more than reached our expectations.

The summit also featured once more The Photo Studio, at which international model and professional photographer were laid on specially to shoot product photos for supplier members. We believe that more and more suppliers can be reached by international buyers through our Photo Studio.

The Shanghai Summit commenced with a speech from Mr. Flecher Kong, director of Tradegood Supply Chain Analysis Center. The most important part of the summit for the participants—the business-matching session—started after Flecher introduced the background and purchasing requirements of the four attending international buyers. Supplier representatives brought their samples and discussed purchasing requirements with the buyers and presented their production capability and relevant qualifications.

During the Summit Mr. David Ho, Vice President, Northeast Asia, Tradegood, delivered a special presentation on the “How we Connected Responsible Buyers and Trusted Suppliers in 2014”. All suppliers indicated they greatly benefited from his speech and thought it gave them innovativeideas for developing overseas markets.

Nearly 60 business-matching opportunities were created on site at this buyer summit. Tradegood also offered its video-matching service for those suppliers or buyer members who were unable to attend the summit. In this way some of our suppliers were able to overcome geographical barriers andsuccessfully connect withbuyers through Tradegood video-matching. Tradegood is committed to connecting global buyers and suppliers by making efforts to improve its services and content with the goal of helping both buyer and sellerreap profitable opportunities in global trade and of creating added value for them. Tradegood will also hold a further series of buyer summits and seminars in 2014, and we look forward to seeing you then!
