Shanghai Marriott Hotel Hongqiao

1 PM - 5 PM

The Tradegood Buyer summit came to Shanghai again on July 24, 2014 at the Hongqiao Marriott Hotel. This time some 200 suppliers and more than 10 international buyers were invited, including several buyers who were attending the Shanghai Buyer Summit for the first time, which has broken the attendance record of all previous Tradegood Buyer Summits. In addition to the guests present, Tradegood members from various China cities experienced the summit via video conferencing. This summit was the most popular one of all times.

This summit saw the welcome reappearance of the Photo Studio, where we arrange photo shooting by professional models and photographers to enhance customers’ product images. This received considerable praise from our supplier members, who were providing with vivid and attractive product photos. A Mini Expo was also held on the theme of “Fabrics and Accessories”. Attending buyers showed off their hot products on site, leading to active discussions with attending buyers and suppliers. Our Mini Expo always provides an excellent opportunity for suppliers to promote their branding and products.

At the summit opening, Mr. Ted Miao, Regional Manager of the Tradegood Supply Chain Analysis Center, introduced the background and sourcing requirements of the attending international buyers.

The most important part of the summit, the business-matching session, started after Ted’s introduction. Supplier representatives presented their samples and discussed purchasing requirements with the international buyers as well as their own production capabilities and relevant qualifications. On this occasion, in order to generate more efficient matching, we also set up our “Document Verification” service in the waiting area, where the Tradegood professional verification team validated certificates and such documents on site for suppliers before their matching with buyers. This process increased the level of trust on both sides.

While the matching session was in progress, Ms. Jojo Li, a Tradegood Project Specialist, made a presentation on “Trend Research on the Jeans Fabric Industry and an Introduction to the Buyer Insight Service”.  Jojo’s informative remarks won unanimous praise from attending suppliers.

The Shanghai Buyer Summit closed as the last supplier finished his matching. Tradegood is dedicated to connecting global buyers and suppliers by proactively improving our service and content with the goal of helping you seize new opportunities in global trade and creating real added value for you.
