On November 20, the final Tradegood Buyer Summit for 2014 was held at the Crowne Plaza Shanghai. Nearly 100 suppliers and 9international buyers attended the summit, with more than 100 matching opportunities being successfully created.
At this summit the center of attention once again was the ever-popular Photo Studio, where we arranged photo-shooting with professional models and photographers to produce high-quality imagesof customers’ latest products. This service received considerable praise from our supplier members, who were provided with vivid and attractive product photos. And, for the tenthtime, our Mini Expo was also held on the theme of “Fabrics and Accessories”, providing an excellent opportunity for suppliers to promote their branding and products.
At the summit opening, Ms. Briny Hou, Regional Managerof Tradegood Supply Chain Analysis Center, delivered a full introduction to the 9 attending buyers and their sourcing requirements to help suppliers better understand the companies they were to meet at the business-matching session.
To start things off, Mr. Neil Ferris, General Manager of Joules Ltd, delivered an introduction to Joules UK to give suppliers a clearer understanding of the Joules brand concept and their purchasing requirements.
Then, Mr. David Ho, General Manager of Tradegood, delivered a keynote speech on "Market Overview and International Trading Strategy for Garment and Accessories Suppliers”, to give suppliers more information on current fashion trends, and the problems and solutions which Chinese suppliers may face in the export trade process. The supplier members said they benefited from this a great deal.
At the same time, the most important part of the summit—the business-matching session—was being held on site. The supplier representatives presented their samples and discussed sourcing requirements as well as their own production capabilities and relevant qualifications with the international buyers. At this summit, Tradegood successfully contributed to creating more than 100 matching opportunities.
