In April, with warm feedback from buyers and suppliers and the successful results from the first Tradegood Shanghai Buyer Summit for 2015, Tradegood added a Shanghai Buyer Summit for May 14. Representatives of local suppliers and international buyers were in attendance at the G. Convention Centre. The summit was held successfully, with a great many business-matching opportunities being created as a result, andwon unanimous praise from the participants.
The theme of this summit was dedicated to “garments and accessories”. Mr. Ted Miao, Regional Manager at the Tradegood Supply Chain Analysis Center, delivered an introduction on all attending buyers and outlined their sourcing requirements in order to help suppliers better prepare for the business-matching session. And we were privileged to invite Ms. Michelle Chung, Design Director of Tradegood, to share her insights on Spring/Summer 2016 Fashion Trends. As a professional designer, Michelle gave a speech on the latest fashion information as regards fabrics, prints, dresses, pants and so on.At the same time, our Mini Expo on the theme of "garments and accessories" was held with the participation of suppliers. Streams of visitors poured into the booths and both suppliers and buyers held fruitful discussions concerning their products, their talks building a solid foundation for future collaboration.
Also noteworthy was, as one of the highlights of the summit, The Photo Studio employed a brand-new international team and a professional modelwho worked together to shoot the most appealing product photos for supplier members. We believe that, through the bridging function of our Photo Studio, more and more suppliers can be presented to the global market and thus grab the attention of international buyers.
In order to take on board the opinions of members about this Buyer Summit, Tradegood conducted a satisfaction survey via We-chat and we would like to thank all participants who gave their time to complete the survey. Tradegood will continue to listen to suggestions and advice from our members and make constant improvements in order to create the most professional sourcing community possible.
At the same time, buyers and suppliers held detailed discussions for four hours on the material, workmanship and many other details of the products. Nearly 50 business matches were created at the buyer-supplier business-matching session, with the successful matches satisfying both buyers and suppliers.
The Tradegood Shanghai Buyer Summit for May 14ended with satisfactory feedback and applause. We will also constantly strive to provide high-value-added services for our members, while continuously improving our service process and seizing every business opportunity to effectively support both sides of the supply chain.
