On September 17, 2015, the latest Tradegood Buyer Summit was held in the Intertek MGS office in Shenzhen. As the event organizer, Tradegood leveraged its relationship with Intertek and its 130 years of customer service to attract well-known brand buyers in the industry from home and abroad to attend this international meeting in Shenzhen. During the half-day summit, nearly one hundred clients were in attendance, creating more than 40 matching opportunities, and with 28 suppliers registering for the Mini Expo. The summit received high praise from attendees thanks to its comprehensive preparation, professional services offered, and high-quality on-site experience.
In order to increase the chances of successful cooperation, supplier product samples were all very well prepared prior to the event, and at the start of the summit, our Supply-chain Analysis Center area representative Michael Blanc introduced the buyers’ backgrounds and sourcing requirements. One of the highlights of the summit was when Tradegood invited Mr. Wei, general manager of the BDA Group, Shenzhen representative office, to introduce the BDA Group and its sourcing plans for the next season. Mr. Wei’s speech on hidden opportunities was a major high point in the summit.
Then Mr. Deboer Ke, District Manager of the Tradegood Supplier Analysis Center made a presentation on "Intertek Supply Chain Solutions –Get Buyer Enquiries via Tradegood”, providing detailed information on the high-quality resources and services provided by Tradegood, effectively helping the suppliers present to build up their confidence to expand into overseas markets. It is also worth mentioning the presentation on Tradegood’s current buyer resources by William Gao, Regional Manager of Tradegood Supplier Analysis Center, which then provided the summit with another high spot. The audiences were excited to learn from him that Tradegood has such huge buyer resources, and took careful notes.
In addition to the main summit activities, a business-matching session was also held. While the biggest highlight of the event was the upgraded Mini Expo Session—in order to bring suppliers a professional service and high-quality resources experience, exhibition booths and product-information cards were also provided for suppliers so they could show off more product details to attending buyers. The booths were manned by professional staff to follow up with each buyer, take notes and give timely feedback to supplier exhibitors. At the site, a quiet and comfortable negotiation area was also provided to buyers and suppliers, allowing them to hold substantive negotiations face to face. At the same time, the Mini Expo enabled exhibitors to present a good image and create trade opportunities, as the booths not only displayed products, but also the suppliers’ enterprise culture. And the corner booth, attracting many professional buyers, became a sea of information!
