Supported by Intertek, the B2B sourcing community connecting responsible buyers and importers with trusted suppliers in more than 100 countries, Tradegood has successfully launched its services in three countries in East Africa. The three launch events were held on 18 November in Tanzania, 19 November in Kenya, and on 20 November in Uganda.
The second launch event, held in Nairobi, Kenya, featured Mr. Paul Yao, Chief Executive Officer of Tradegood, and Mr. David Mulder, Business Development Manager of Intertek Africa, as hosts of the event. We were honored to be able to invite Mr. Charles Gachahi, Acting Managing Director of the Kenya Bureau of Standards, Dr. Hermogène Nsengimana, Secretary General of the African Organization for Standardization, and senior officials from the Shippers Council of East Africa to attend the opening event.
Mr. Paul Yao introduced Tradegood to the audience and demonstrated that Tradegood, together with Intertek, through its proven qualification and verification processes, enhances confidence for both buyers and suppliers. And based on the reputation and transparency of Tradegood suppliers, Tradegood can help importers and buyers in Kenya to find the quality suppliers who meet the requirements of the Export Verification of Conformity program and hold a mandatory Certificate of Conformity.
The Kenya launch event was strongly supported by the local government and widely reported by the Kenyan media. Going forward, we believe that Tradegood will be able to assist countries in East Africa to ‘do business right’ and create a win-win partnership.
