Enabled by Intertek, theB2B sourcing community connecting responsible buyers and importers with trusted suppliers in more than 100 countries, Tradegood has successfully launched its services in three counties in East Africa. The three launch events were held on 18 November in Tanzania, 19 November in Kenya, and 20 November in Uganda.

The first launch event was held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and featured Mr. Paul Yao, Chief Executive Officer of Tradegood, and Mr. David Mulder, Business Development Manager of Intertek Africa, as hosts of the event. We were honored to be able to invite a number of officials from the Tanzanian Government, as well as representatives of trade associations and national standards bodies to participate in the event.

Mr. Paul Yao, Chief Executive Officer of Tradegood, introduced Tradegood to the audience that Tradegood, together with Intertek, which runs a Consignment Based Conformity assessment program, known as PVoC (Pre-export Verification of Conformity to Standards), in each of the three countries, through its proven qualification and verification processes, can enhance confidence for both buyers and suppliers. And based on the reputation and transparency of Tradegood suppliers, Tradegood can help importers and buyers in Tanzania to find quality suppliers who meet the requirements of the Export Verification of Conformity program and hold the mandatory Certificate of Conformity. At the same time, through Tradegood, potential suppliers from this region will also be able to connect with reputable buyers overseas.

The first Tradegood launch event in East Africa was strongly supported by the local government and widely reported by media. We believe that Tradegood will be able to assist countries in East Africa to ‘do business right’ and create a win-win partnership.
