Cambodia (official name: the Kingdom of Cambodia) is a small developing country located in the southern portion of the Southeast Asian land mass, sharing borders with Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos.

Key Sectors

Cambodia’s  leading industrial sectors include: tourism, garments, construction, rice milling, fishing, wood and wood products, rubber, cement, gem mining, and  textiles   The leading agricultural sectors are:  rice, rubber, corn, vegetables, cashews, cassava (manioc, tapioca), and silk.

 Agriculture accounts for roughly 34% of GDP, while industry accounts for 24.5% and services for  40.7%.

The US government has identified the following sectors as holding particular promise for investment or export to Cambodia:
